He worked officer during the First World War, after the war, He work businessman, we went to several countries southern Africa and Canada. But He spent most of his time to writing a book. The Thirty-nine Steps was one of the things He had ever written a books,

This story was quite interesting. Because this story appeared people were very personality. The man who named Richard Hannay. He also was born Scotland, and we moved to Africa to work. Richard Hannay and John Buchan had similarity. so I thought that John Buchan wants to appeared as main character on his made story. Richard Hannay is very intelligent and cautious person and also he likes to adventure.
One day, a man came to his flat. he named Franklin P. Scudder. He worked for American newspaper. And he found out about the German plans for war. He knew a lot of information about it. Project subject ideas

I chose my project to be about soccer.

Soccer is a sport which we use our feet to control the ball and try to kick it to the opponent's net but it's difficult to score a single goal because we have to get pass the defenders and the goal keeper. Goalkeeper is one of the most important player in the game. He is the one who have to stop the ball from going in to the net. It is the most popular sport in Europe and America. Soccer was played for over 3000 years and soccer was banned 2 times because of the violence and the soldiers would love to watch the soccer game that they always don't go to their archery practice. In 1365, soccer was banned because of growing incidence of violence and military indulgence in the sport. In 1424, King James l made a Parliament saying "Na man play at the Fute-ball" which means "No man plays foot ball(soccer)".

Self Introduction

My name is TJA. I'm half Japanese and Philippines. My mother is from Philippines and my father is from Japanese favorite thinks to do is to play soccer and listening to musics. I love playing drums as well as I do with soccer. I do goal keeper and forward in soccer. I have 1 younger brother and he is currently studying in CIS and he is in grade 4.

I learned my English at CIS. Before studying in CIS I used to go to a after school class where they teach us how to speak English. I think I learned my English skill there as well. When I wasn't studying in CIS yet, I was studying in a Japanese public school. I studied in a Japanese school since kindergarten to grade 3 and a half.

I've known English since I was grade 1 or 2 because when I was still little, my parents wanted me to watch English cartoons and learn English so that I could go to an International school. I enjoy watching English cartoons when I was little but now I can watch any language of television program. I usually watch soccer in English channels so that at least I'm watching and learning some English from the TV.

I go to CIS(Canadian International School) in Tokyo. I went to CIS when I was grade 3. Then I moved school at grade 6 and now I'm back to CIS to continue from grade 8. Right now I'm in a summer school in CIS too. My first day in CIS when I was grade 3 was really hard because, I still didn't know a simple English and I was having trouble understanding what the teachers are teaching the students and it's kind of hard to communicate to students who only knows how to speak English.

My strength in English in spellings and grammars. I fell comfortable when I spell a word while writing it down in a piece of paper but I feel uncomfortable when spelling it out from my mouth because they words gets mixed up in my mind and say a random letters. I sometimes write a story of my own when I was still small. I think I started to like spelling and grammars when I was small with writing a story when still little.

My weakness with English is summary writing. I feel summary writing my weakness because, I'm really weak at telling a short story of what I've red and what I've seen. The events happens on the thing I've seen or red gets mixed up too and the events the is important sometimes isn't mentioned there. When I was still in grade 4~6, I was having a really hard time making a short summary of a novel. It usually takes me about 30 minutes to 1 hour to make a short and simple summary. So, I hope that I could learn how to make a summary within this summer school in CIS.
